There is a new movie being created. It is based on the young adult novel, "Twilight" by Stephenie Meyer.

Synopsis:
BELLA SWAN has always been a little bit different. Never one to have many friends, she didn't connect well with people. Bella never cared about fitting in. When her mother remarried, Bella decided to go live with her father in the rainy little town of Forks, Washington, to give her mother and her new step-father time together. She didn't expect much of anything to change, but things do change when she meets the mysterious and dazzlingly beautiful EDWARD CULLEN. For Edward is nothing like any boy she's ever met. He's nothing like anyone she's ever met, actually. He's intelligent and witty, and he "speaks in cadences of another century." In no time at all, they are swept up in a passionate and decidedly unorthodox romance. Unorthodox because Edward really isn't like the other boys. He's Dangerous, but not bad. White pale skin with eyes that change colour, how interesting. Oh, and he hasn't aged since 1918. Like all vampires, he's immortal. But he doesn't have fangs, burn in the sun, he isn't scared of garlic, and he doesn't sleep in a coffin, that's just in the movies. He also doesn't drink human blood, though Edward and his family are unique among vampires in that lifestyle choice.

To Edward, Bella is that thing he has waited for for 90 years... his soul mate.

But the closer they get, the more Edward must struggle to resist the primal pull of her scent (more potent to him then anyone else), which could send him into an uncontrollable frenzy.

Somehow, they will have to manage their unorthodox love. But what will they do when JAMES, VICTORIA, and LAURENT, vampires unlike the Cullens, happen to come through town and get a whiff of the Cullens' new "pet"?


Production starts February 2008.

Kristen Stewart will play Isabella Swan. She starred in previous movies, "Zathura" and "The Messengers".

Robert Pattinson will play Edward Cullen. He starred in previous movies, "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire" and "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix" as Cedric Diggory.


I look forward to seeing this movie. I have read all three books in the series. I hope they just don't stray too far away from the plot in the book.

I can't wait for this movie to come out. I wish she had continued her series. Seems as if she would. But, this movie is supposed to be good, I mean, it better be! -Smiles-

There is a 4th book called Breaking Dawn that comes out in Aug. It's the final book in the series.

Sounds like good stuff to read and watch!

It's a really good series, they are called the twilight series. It's my favorite book series if you want to learn about them go on to www.stephaniemeyer.com. You can read like the first chapter of the book to see if you like it or not.

I absolutely love that book, I'm really hoping that the movie will be just as good. Although Robert Pattison is playing Edward, and I don't think that he could pull off playing Edward. To me it seems like he doesn't have the acting skills for that complex of a character. What are everyone else's thoughts?

I just ordered the first book of the series yesterday, it will be in next week. I'm very curious and can't wait to read it!

I agree that Robert Pattison would not be a good actor for Edward. It doesn't seem like his part, someone else should do it.
