RE: Who knows...
has enyone tried Fiamma's?
Here is an online review...
Fiamma is a modern Italian Osteria whose name means flame in Italian. Executive Chef Michael White (formerly at the four star Spiaggia restaurant in Chicago and chef di cucina at Ristorante San Domenico in Imola, Italy) and general manager and de facto sommelier Daniele Sbordi (formerly of Le Cirque) join restaurateur Stephen Hanson to bring the best of Italy to the table in a stylish triplex designed by Jeffrey Beers. A glass elevator visible from the exterior zips diners through to the 130-seat restaurant to enjoy White's bold, artful offerings. Private parties of up to 70 can be accommodated on the third floor.
Signature dishes reflecting the simple seasonings and flavors of Italy include Pan-Roasted Sea Scallops with crispy artichokes, black trumpets and parmigiano; Ricotta and Robiolo Tortelli with asparagus tips, basil oil and pecorino and Veal Chop scented with sage and served with sweet and sour cipolline onions and roasted fingerling potatoes. With the opening of Fiamma, diners will be inspired to fall in love with Italian cuisine anew.

Let me know what you think.
