Just dye it black with bright red [not pink] highlights and straighten it...
Honestly, I went for a scene style...
Mine is almost white with green highlights and I keep it straightened...
And it's cut so one side of my bangs is longer than the rest of my hair...
But, that's just how mine is...
You can do the same, just make it darker colors...

Bleach your hair and dye it black underneath while leaving the rest bleached.
To dye it underneath, hold up most of your hair except a little of the bottom layers with a hair clamp, dye the bottom layers, the nwash out the dye.
Then get a loose curl, so its wavy.

keep it long and lovely, with a v cut in the back, dramatic, layered bangs, and long layers on the rest of the hair. Dye it any way you want -- and tada! a versatile, easily- styled look!

you could dye it black and put red streaks in it.
I did that 2 years ago and it came out awsome

Dont touch it, except to clean it every now and then. =P Then just whear tripp pants and no shirt, or a wife-beater. Now your not burning alot of money on Goth material, which kind of defeats the purpose of being diffrent when you use a famous clothing line. =P

lol ill stick to my military cuts lol the hair cuts i see people with now makes me laugh one girl shaved her head bald but left her bangs it was funny as all heck at first then it just got creepy

I would dye it a bright colour like purple or blue it doesn't have to be red ...loll heck, even pink xX.,...I hate pink but I must admit it looks good on black hair.
haha, by the way, I have the same problem as you. My hair's naturally black and I'm not allowed to dye it cause of the parents...haha, so you could get hair accessories like I do~ bows, skulls, ribbons, roses!~ and you can get clip in hair extensions with different colours!!
