HELP!!! i purchased goth boots that my mum hates!!?
I bought boots today that according to my mother are "unclassy" and not nice at all. So basically she wont let me wear them out UNLESS i can find an outfit that will make them look decent.so does anyone know what type of outfit I would wear to make them look classy? Please dont suggest to hide them under jeans too, cos i want them to be visible. Heres a link with a pic that looks similar to them:http://www.goodgoth.com/nancy2b.gif Please help. I spent alot of money on them.. *tear* </3I'm 16 btw so you can get an idea of what is suitable for a 16 yr old. =]

There is no outfit on earth that would make those boots classy, but try a black dress, just a plain, non gothic black dress (non gothic for your mothers sake)

Maybe a skirt and a slogan top. Plus tube socks... Thigh-High Tube Socks...... No offense but those boots are really ugly.

The boots in the pic are lovely, although the heels are a little heavy. However I suppose it depends on your age.I would wear those with jeans but over skinny jeansOr with a skirt, short rather than long. If you wear a just above the knee skirt, with a smart-ish top (don't try to go too goth), they will look fineThey aren't stylish (which is what I assume your mother means by 'classy'.A word to your Mum, so long as you (the daughter) are not dressing in a tarty or inappropriate manner, I'd let you wear what you have. However, maybe the boots aren't suitable for going someone where smart clothes are required. One word in your Mum's favour. If you are still rather young, the heels are not good for your body.Try to find a compromise between you. Why don't you ask her to help you find an outfit. Don't get huffy with her and ask her to consider your likes and dislikes. You never know, you might have fun.

She's right, sorry but they're army-style boots, not classy at all. I had a Canadian roommate who was emo, antisocial, had facial hair and a unibrow, and seriously thought she was Avril Lavigne. She has the EXACT same pair of boots.Maybe it's just knowing her that creeps me out and makes me hate them...but I honestly hate those boots. They're outdated as of 3-4 years ago. You can't 'make a statement' with them, because every gothic kid has them and probably didn't throw them about 3-4 years ago. If you like them though...wear them.

kool boots!! Try white stockings, a short-sleeved sorta flowy shirt, and plain skirt that goes 1-3 inches above the boot tops. The skirt should have some short vertical slits on the sides for function. Add a nice necklace, one of those fancy types, and a nice hairstyle (<-- cant help with this last part) and i think that'd look a bit classy at least. And if that doesn't work, just wear jeans over them. Still, they're kool boots and you have the right to like them! Your mom can't FORCE you to get rid of them.
