Are Witches Real?
Not just the pagan/wiccan people. But people who practice and get real results. My family always taught me that angels are real, and i've always wondered how spiritual beings exist but fantasy beings don't. And why did stories about them originate (faries, elves, etc.) ?

Witches could exist, probably depending on religion or belief. Something you do that is unruly, or bad, could make you be considered a Witch; as Anne Boleyn did, in Europe. A mole, or unlucky birth could be, as well.

Well, witch stories originated from the ancient Wiccans.Elves probably came from the Prydn, a race of pygmys living in Britain arount 500AD ( also known as the Hill People because their huts were hidden in mounds of dirt).Fairies probably came from the words "fair folk" who were called this because their sking and hair were light (fair) coloured. Many of these were Scandanavian and some were rumoured to have come from Atlantis.

Do you mean people who practice witchcraft, call themselves witches, but do not follow a pagan religion?Witchcraft itself is a practice, a skill, for instance like a doctor or lawyer. The same characteristics being it takes years of dedicated learning to be any good and have results. To answer your question, yes there are people who practice it, without being pagan or Wiccan, me for example.I don't exactly go towards any religion, I was raised catholic, looked into Wicca, but neither felt all that natural to me.When i looked into Wicca, I looked into witchcraft first, and found that I was drawn to the craft more than that religion and soon enough I just sort of abandoned all religions, but get my studies in witchcraft going. As of right now I considered myself a very spiritual person, but having no religion i particular and I am a practicing witch.

Are Witches Real?
Yes, they are real, I am one. But before you jump out of your chair and go on a "witch hunt", there are many different forms of witchcraft, and religions that support it, such as Wiccan, Paganism,Voodoo,Santeria(I hope I spelled that right) etc. Mostly witchcraft is practiced to help people, and helps keep the world and ourselves healthy and pure, but some do follow the dark path. Practicing witchcraft is nothing like TV shows and Movies at all. Most witches are the farthest thing from evil, most are very religious, and we have a Rede or Law to follow, basically If we harm anyone or anything and do something bad, something bad will happen to us 3 times worse than what we did, that keeps most of us trying to be as helpful and harmless as possible. Please don't be afraid, Witches are generally very kind and gentle, and wont "curse" you for looking at them the wrong way. Just read up on some of the other religions I mentioned, and always keep an open mind, I hope any other practicers agree, If I goofed up anything I am sorry

Witches most definitley exist. I myself am one. I do practice my own form of wicca, although i don't believe that Wiccan and Witch is synonimous. ( Spelling? sorry if it's wrong.) Witch is what you are, like a race. Paganism is "just" a religious point of view. Pardon the just... it was used for lack of a better word. My belief is much the same as Being Human doesn't make you a Christian or Catholic or any such belief of that vein. Does this make any sense at all? I'm trying to put my chaotic thoughts down and make them legible and i'm sorry if i'm failing. The bottom line is this..... I believe that real witches exist because i am one. I have been one for more than 400 years. My magick has always yielded a result, NOT always a satisfactory result, but results none the less. haha.
Once again i appologise if i made no sense, It's hard to type coherently when my brain is going 5000 miles a minute.
Blessings.
Saj.
