So, here is how it works. I'm going to start off with a riddle. Everyone posts what they think the answer is. I'll let you know as soon as the correct answer has been posted. The first person to correctly guess, gets to post the next riddle, and so on.


Riddle me this:

How many times can you subtract 5 from 25?

One would think 5 times, but it's a trick question. You can only subtract 5 from 25 once. After that you're subtracting it from 20.

Google? Who said I used google? I have a 135 IQ. I don't need google to figure these out. Here's one I heard from a friend about 8 months ago.

Three men were on a buisness trip and decided to book into a hotel room. The mananger told them the room was $30, and so they each paid $10 to cover the cost of the room. They went up to their room and were quite satisfied. Then the manager realized he made a mistake and over charged the gentlemen. The room was only $25. So he called the bellhop over, handed him $5, and told him to go up to the room and give the gentlement their change. Partway up to the room the bellhop starts to wonder how he's going to split $5 three ways, so he simplifies the matter and pockets $2. When he reaches the room he explains that the gentlemen were overcharged and gives them each a dollar. They orriginally paid $10 each, and after the dollar back makes it $9 each. $9 X 3 = $27, add the $2 that the bellhop pocketed and you get $29. So where did the extra dollar go?

i've heard this one before, buts its simple..


if the room only cost 25 plus the two dollars they unknowingly gave the bellhop guy 25+2=27
Then you just add the dollar each one received back which is 3 dollars

27+3=30 dollars.. its just how you do that math

Yeah pretty much. Most people just keep thinking down the 9X3+2 line of thought and don't realize that there really isn't a riddle to solve at all. What's the next one you've got?
