I occasionally miss being single but I am SO happy with my hubby^^ He is one of those rare one's who puts you first without making you feel guilty(I don't know about you guys but I'm no damsel in distress) I think you need to sully your own armor before dedicating your life to blending in with another. I mean who wants a knight in shining armor? I'll take my Drow in all his blooded rust first ^^

Just think of the many GOOD things about being single.

Like..

..well, okay, there probabably are things. I just haven't thought of any yet. (:

I miss the lack of pressure when I was single. I never even thought about who thought what because they weren't mine you know? It's definitely hard being single because at the end of your day/night you feel alone and the feeling of being alone is very heavy. It's like you draw the emptiness around you subconsciously to give even a faint feeling of comfort. On the other hand, when your not single, your bombarded with a whole new set of fight or flight response that is triggered alone by your significant other. If they hurt you hurt and because you need to know that they can accept you at your worse it can be easy to become accustomed to placing them higher than you on the "survival pole", put more on them than they deserve. In a dual relationship you REALLY need to trust both parties with all your being and honestly I think most people have a hard enough time placing that kind of trust in one, it goes against our own subconscious fight or flight response. It can be very harmful but ultimately I bet it's worth the experience. I personally have my hands full with one. He thinks I'm a fool. If you love everyone, you realize that they all can only be trusted so far, through NO FAULT of their own. Sometimes I think he's right but isn't everything capable of an act of kindness? I don't want to be the one to cause them hesitation when the time comes so I guess I am a fool in that sense, but rather be a loving fool than an ass ^^

Okays, I thought of some good things too.

It's good to be single b'cause you can check out fitt guys without feeling guilty.
And.. you can make-out with fitt guys without feeling guilty.
And.. yeah (: They're good enough reasons for me.

lol, try being single for 3 years, minus the making out..
U either get really used to it, or really frustrated about
some ideas like turning from straight to .. something else may start creeping in too..

i like to be single at times.. but do miss being heald and touched by someone i love.. but then again i end up hurting the one i love...

Pain is what we all have in common...and you can never trully understand someone untill you understand their pain, but even if you do understand them it doesnt mean that you can come to an agreement with them!
