Okay.. ths isn't really a "boyfriend trouble", but I could do with some advice. [: It's to do with boys, atleast.

There's a boy I've known since we were about seven and he was the first boy I ever really liked (it was one of those cute pre-school crushes). And the other day he invited me to see Twilight with him on Saturday, which I accepted on the condition that I've gotten over my cold/flu. Anyhow, on Friday he told me that he had always had this feeling that we were meant to be together and he basically proclaimed his love for me. And I don't really know how to let him down without hurting his feelings. He's so sweet and a wonderful person but I definately don't want to get into a relationship with him. So now i'm feeling worried about going to the cinema incase it's awkward or he tries something and I'm not sure how I can tell him I don't want to be with him without making him upset. Accck, help? What do I say to him?

But I think I might have been leading him on slightly. And I'm not sure that we will ever get together, because I can't ever see us together (although he said he could).

I don't want to be mean and tell him that there's basically no chance.

But it's weid how one moment he says he's always thought we should be together and act all loved-up and the next moment he's acting like we're just friends and I DO feel bad for leading him on, but he occasionally drives me crazy. And I'd tell him I don't return his feelings but them everything would be super-awakward between us. And I'm not sure he'd even like me as a friend if I turned him down. He's the sort of "all or nothing/take it or leave it" kind of person.
