Screw this stupid stuck up, christian, old guys that run our government! I mean come on. Seperation of church and state my a**! Equality... where? Do you see it? All these straight couples (no offence to anyone, just making a point) get to marry whom ever they want to. Why can't I? Why is my life any different then anyone elses? How is MY love different from yours, or theirs for that matter? But all these christian government officials say that the bible says marriage is between a man and a women. I'm seeing church here... But no one in the gov does anything because the rest of them are christian or catholic too! Also, the bible only says that because people have changed it! DUH! If you find an older origional bible, it says absolutly nothing of the sort in it! AGH! Is there no end to the confusion.....?

The most they state in the older versions, if I am correct, is that it is wrong in nature only due to producing children, or that you are letting 'lust' control you in the later ones.. But, in my opinion, He obviously didn't care about that or else he wouldn't want his nuns and such to stay virgins for him.
It's all just looney. I am also angry at how the US government is that way, and the only reason they are able to sneak that sort of thing in is because the nation was made by very religious people 'Under god'.
If they were to change that, there would I guess be chaos, but I would much rather them do it because this is downright terrible. We may have more rights than other countries, but our country is also brainwashed, paranoid, and ego-tripping like hell. And money sure as hell makes our world go round. Wave a little cash (or even better, drugs, blech,) and you can get anything easy. I get so angry about the amount of homeless in this country, especially since most of the homeless I see are children and teens, that makes me sick. For the underage, there is no where to go but to a foster home, where I have heard many a horror story about.. once again, people doing it for the money. (I know damn well there are plenty out there that are upright citizens, and sweet people, but do not doubt that there is a higher percent than needed of crooked people running foster homes and such other 'helping homes'.)

I know! The government is so damn currput! If you have a pretty penny, you can get away with anything and no one will say a word about it! Nothing in the world is free, nothing! Everything comes at some cost or another. We'll have to pay our whole lives! And you got all these stuck up rich people in their 15 room mansions, while there are teenagers out on the street starving and dealing drugs just to get by! Money and religion run the country. Whether the stuck up gov officials will admit to it or not. It's sad that nothing has changed in the world at all. I mean, go back to the 1500's in England, Henry VIII, and other WEALTHY men, including high ranking church officials, made all the decisions. Well, what's different now? Sure, we have checks and balances... among people who are all "god-centered" religious people. Call me crazy, but I see no change here.

Even some of the religious people are that way, they also will pay money to get in and out of stuff it is completely wrong. And with the homeless people and the people who are starving in Africa and other places, they can use the money that they use to make those commercials and feed and help those people. Most people only care about themselves and no one else in this world.

That and also donating so much to the churches.
I understand donating, and don't see that as bad, but when you decide that in your will you are sending every last ounce of money you have to a church... that's wrong! People don't stop to think about charities, or even think about possibly helping their children start their own when they pass away.
I mean, you could be giving 20% to your church if you so desire it, then like 50% to your children or more/less, then the rest could go to habitat for humanity or something that would get these poor people off of the street at least.
My fiance had a family member that gave her whole inheritance (Well in the million dollar range) to the church, and not a cent to her family. Not even to pay for any of the expenses after death. It's infuriating for me. She could have given 500k if she so desired then the other few mil to family at least..
It breaks my heart. I've been homeless before, and it hurts when you are a mid teen out on the street with no family to turn to (whether it be because you forsake them or they forsake you). I'd like to give those kids the chance I didn't get so soon when I was in their place, and I know damn well there's kids on the street that are a lot worse off than I was (I had friends to feed me at least!).

Yes, that is true as well. With all the rich people, all they have to do is donate what to them would be a small amount, to a charity or something. Build homeless shelters or something! I mean come on. Whats the good in all that money if you're just going to waste it?
Another good point, people try to but their way into heaven and think that they're contibuting to the teachings of god by donating or something... please! God and jesus are not going to forgive your sins, only you, and the people around you can do that. Because if that were true, we would all just find god and go to heaven now wouldnt we?

And since you mentioned troops... lol. I also agree with you on that! I support the troops, and the fact that they can fight for their country, even if they dont agree with it, as I do. They try to be the good guy, but while trying to save other countries, they're slowly killing our own! I want my cousin, my uncles, and all my friends back! Is that too much to ask? How would they like it if i shipped their wife or something off to China?

Freaking exactly! The should not be a need for a draft, the main reason being that out of all of my family, my friends family, and my friends, 80% are ready to go into the army and have signed up with glee. Most of this country already is ready to go sign up and get in early. They do not need a draft! All that will do is take the pacifists and make them into suicidal, homicidal people. I know I'd get like that, and several of my friends, if we were drafted. They best not bring that crap back.
And so many of my friends feel like the need to join the army to get anywhere in life. To get girls/boys, to have a home, to even have an education. Yes, the army helps, but it shouldn't be feeling like a last resort for so many.
And the war we have been in lately is just a big laugh for me. jr.s trying to finish daddys war, how cute. Pfshaw.

I completely agree. The younger adults joining the service these days only do it for the money. Every guy I knew that was living in a crapy home with little money, joined the army so they could get money. I mean, if you want to risk your life for something that's fine, but do it because you believe in it, not because you're getting paid for it. I mean, there really isn't a price for someones life.
And as for this "war", It's nothing but a joke. We're not helping anything. We're just causing more problems that are going to bite us in the ass. You want to fix something...? Fix global warming. That's something that will kill the whole damn planet eventually. Or help all these helpless starving children. But instead we're send healthy children's parent off to foreign countries to fight for something that no one even believes we should be doing. Oh dear... i could go on forever as well....

People can't control who they fall in love with! What are they going to do, tell people to fall OUT of love with each other? I don't think so. And if they ever say that, and go that far, they'll see a side of me, that NOBODY in the WORLD wants to EVER see.

Exactly my point! You can't make people not love eachother! I mean, given you can still love them, and not be married, but if you live together and want to start a family and stuff, if something happens, you're not covered at all! But I do believe gay and lesbian couples are more understanding than straight couples. No offense, that's just my opinion.
