Lestat in Interview With The Vampire was so much better than in QotD! I couldn't stand him in that, I must admit.

The names (and personalities) were derived from me and my friends. Raphael is long for Raff (my nickname), Shanae is my best mate Shane's name but my girlfriends personality, Lillith is Lynden (and also Goddess of Vampires/witches etc), Erik and Ashton (who come in later) are Erika (my gf's best friend) and Ashmar (my other best friend) and Cerebus is Shane's adopted name cos he thought it sounded cool.

The basic plot line is based along what happened between my girlfriend and I at one point, with a bit of artistic license involved
