I don't know how it feels to lose someone close to a lycan but I know a few lycans myself. Some are good, some are not, but I believe it is not in the lycan race itself that the blame lies but rather in the individual who made the decision. They were the ones who let the whole lycan thing get to there head. Just like my neighbor across the street who lost her husband to a couple of black people doesn't mean that she has the right to condem them all, and the same should apply to all of us. Who are we to condem a race because of the actions of individuals. For there have been problems that individual vampires have caused but here we are trying to prevent all of humanity from condeming us for a few simple actions. Think about it before starting to be hypocritical.
